At Episcopal High School class sizes are small, typically 10 to 12 students, allowing teachers to actively involve students in discussions, draw out their thoughts, and focus on special areas of interest or need.
EHS faculty members usually teach four sections, or a total of 40 to 50 students at any given time. They have time to get to know each student's special gifts and needs and provide extra support or opportunities as warranted. Faculty members interact with students in a number of different roles. They are not only teachers, but are also coaches,
advisors, and members of
a dorm team. All provide mentoring relationships and support for students.
